ProNav AS, established late 1994, has rapidly grown to be one of Norway’s leading importer / distributors of marine electronics. The company is based in Egersund, on the south-west coast of Norway, close to the major North Sea fishing grounds and Stavanger, the “oil capital” of Norway.
Through agency agreements with internationally well known manufacturers Pronav offers a wide range of high performance and cost effective marine electronics to all types of commercial ships, fishing vessels and pleasure crafts.
In 1998 ProNav moved in to a brand new sales and service centre which holds a large stock of new prod- ucts and spare parts. In addition the new service centre also contains a fully equipped training centre for our customers and service staff.
Pronav’s market is mainly Norway and the most im- portant suppliers are; AC Antennas, AlfaTronix, Alphatron Marine, Intellian, Iris, JRC, McMurdo, Simrad, Teledyne TSS.
